Owing alligience to no-one but themselves and everyone. The Sensei are the epitome of humanity. The perfect result of the GECT. Enlightened people who have made use of the potentially immortal life given them. Masters of anything they desire. Completely self sufficient and caring about anyone who needs their assistance. Working for the benifit of humanity and life itself.
Some have lived for hundreds of years, spending that time perfecting themselves. Living in a time of constant war and continuing to survive. Consider the fighting skills they must possess. Years of martial arts training, melee combat, weaponry, tactics, psychology, science. Then consider the technology and alliances they have collected over this time
The way sensei are treated by the various alliances amounst humanity vary. They very rarely have negative relations with any of the major powers. Part of that which earns a true Sensei that title is that they have no enemies. Their aim is not to destroy but to ally.
This can cause problems amounst those who use their power with limited vision.
The vast majority of sensei have worked for the LAW in one capacity or another over the years and in effect have high seniority which LAW forces will usually respect. Their goals are usually in harmony, the survival of the species and the survival of life. It is not unknown for disagreements to occur however, especially in the LAWs treatment of individuals and in recent decades the number of sensei actively in the employ of the LAW has decreased.
Sensei often work for corporations as master scientists or administrators but a corporations inability to control those who search for higher meaning than profit means these alliances can be short. After their work is done it often ends up distributed freely over the omninet network. Earning the favor of the Hackers but usually not that of the corporation who funded the project.
Unlike the tendancies of the LAW, sensei will treat Aliens intelligences as they would any other life. Communication is attempted. Destructive forces are tamed or redirected. Irreconcilably hostile foes are destroyed.
Sensei may aim to serve all life but not at the cost of the terran biosphere and humanity.
